Heavy rain floods parts of Metro Manila – MMDA

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday reported flooding in areas affected by heavy rain.
The Makati Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council reported 12-inch floods in Samploc St., Buendia from Osmeña St. to Fillmore St., Dayap St., Emilia St., Tanguele St., Lawaan St., Lumbayao St., Teka St., Herrera St., and JP Rizal corner Pasong Tirad flood, making them impassable to light vehicles.
Floods on Onyx St. corner Pasong Tirad are16 inches high and also not also passable to light vehicles.
Floods on Consular St. have subsided.
Earlier on Friday, flooding was recorded in EDSA northbound and south bound, EDSA Ortigas.
Eight inches of water was reported along España corner Bluementritt, España Lacson northbound and southbound, España Antipolo, RMB Pureza, Otis Paco, Quirino Roxas, Along P. Burgos and Taft Ayala.
Thirteen inches of flood was reported in RMB Dela Fuente.
