Cebu Pacific cancels two domestic flights due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Pacific cancelled two domestic flights on Friday due to inclement weather.

In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced the following fights as cancelled as of 1 p.m.:

Cebu Pacific
5J 379 Manila Cagayan de Oro
5J 380 Cagayan de Oro-Manila

The weather bureau has raised a yellow rainfall warning over Metro Manila and Zambales due to the current weather situation brought by the southwest monsoon.

A yellow rainfall warning is raised when 7.5-14-millimeter of rain is accumulated in a span of an hour and is expected to persist for the next two hours.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains, Pagasa said, are expected over Batangas, Rizal, Cavite and Quezon province within the next three hours.
