UN Ave in Manila closed over ‘police rehearsal’

UNITED Nations Avenue was closed to traffic on Wednesday to give way to a rehearsal by Manila police for an event to honor one of their own.
Affected is the stretch from San Marcelino to Taft Avenue, the city’s traffic management unit said.
Westbound motorists are advised to either turn right to Romualdez Street or turn left to San Marcelino to their point of destination.
Those eastbound should turn right to Taft Avenue or turn right to Gen. Luna Street to their point of destination.
The honoree is P/Col. Marcelino Pedrozo Jr., the deputy district director for administration of the MPD.
