KRIS Aquino always has excellent knack playing up things to her advantage.
She previously asked fans to help her decide whether she should do a new horror movie, telling them how she has been offered one in “Kampon,” recently announced among MMFF 2019 entries.
The mother of two asked, “Humility has taught me that other actresses can play my role credibly. That’s why I’m asking you now, since you are the ones who will be watching- should I make my return via this horror movie or give way now so that they could find another actress to take my place?”
Some fans were quick to welcome the idea but there were others who thought it best that she focus on her getting well first.
Ah, but Kris has actually decided already.
She said, “I want my youngest to see his mama in the genre she loves most. I want this more for my sons to be reassured that their mum didn’t give up.”
She even added, “I don’t want my autoimmune condition define me and limit me.”
As if that wasn’t enough, she slyly suggested the movie might be the inspiration she needed to get healthier.
