“Archer earned his wings and crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. He will be missed,” wrote Carmel Puertollano in a Facebook post.

Yesterday, Puertollano also gave updates in her same post that Archer, after being checked by The team at The Pet Project, suffered complications in his kidney and liver, have possible lymphoma and mouth sores.

Until yesterday, the veterinarian did not recommend surgery as Archer is very weak to undergo a procedure that required anesthesia.

This morning, he passed away.

Puertollano also took the opportunity to thank everyone who helped Archer and reminded everyone “not to give human food to their cats. We are currently working on a change of diet for them so that they can live longer, healthier lives.”  (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
