MISS World Philippines 2012 runner-up April Love Jordan, 31, is dead.
According to a report on Pep, she succumbed to liver cancer, Friday last week.
Among those mourning Jordan’s passing is Miss World Philippines 2012 Queenie Rehman, who took to Instagram to share her disbelief concerning the sad news.
“I’m lost for words April.. I just can’t accept that you’re gone. We won’t be able to have these wonderful moments together. I know that you’re in good place right now and we will truly miss you,” Rehman wrote.
“You’ve fought hard in life till your very last breath. We are truly grateful to have met you and of course being one of your close friends during Miss World Philippines and the years after that. We love you and we will miss you so much,” she added.
Prior to being crowned 3rd Princess at the 2012 Miss World Philippines contest, Jordan also competed at the 2009 Binibining Pilipinas contest, where she finished at the Top 10; Mutya ng Pilipinas 2006 (second runner-up), and Miss Philippines Earth 2006 (finalist). (RAMPADOR ALINDOG)
