DID YOU KNOW: MMDA records 394 deaths in 2018 road crashes

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), there were 394 actual fatalities from the 383 road crashes recorded in 2018.

The figures were lower compared to the 434 fatalities in 423 road crash cases recorded in 2017.

The MMDA has been collating the annual number of collision-related fatalities since 2005. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
