Kaspersky Lab today announces the latest accolade its Threat Intelligence Service has received from Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards 2019. The global cybersecurity company’s enterprise service has risen to the top as it earns this year’s Cybersecurity for IT Services award.
Stephan Neumeier, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Kaspersky Lab, led the company’s delegates who attended the awarding ceremony.
“It is always a proud moment whenever our solutions and services receive a nod of approval from independent institutions who are also experts in the industry. Awards like this prove that we are on track in fulfilling our main mission — to save the world by creating holistic and advanced cybersecurity solutions and services. On behalf of our team, we are deeply grateful for this acknowledgement from Singapore Business Review,” says Stephan Neumeier, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Kaspersky Lab.
This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Cheang Wai Keat, Head of Advisory of Ernst & Young LLP; Darwin Thio, Director, Cybersecurity & Technology Services of Nexia TS; KPMG Head of Cybersecurity Daryl Pereira; Evelyn Lim, Executive Director, Tax Advisory of BDO LLP, and; Jonathan Kok, Co-Head of Technology, Media & Communications Industry Group of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP.
Kaspersky Threat Intelligence boast effective features which aim to help institutions prepare and prevent cyberattacks. It includes comprehensive threat intelligence workflow and the Kaspersky Threat Lookup which can show that the detected URLs are related to the specific threat actor. This enterprise service also successfully identifies and completely eliminate the threat, early enough to prevent catastrophic damage.
“Singapore is not foreign to headline-grabbing data breaches. We have, sadly, seen how these malicious hackers can now effectively and stealthily infect systems and networks which could have been a secure locker for our confidential data. With the alarming rise of cyberattacks, we promise not to rest on our laurels and to put further efforts in creating solutions that will keep us on par with cybercriminals, or even ahead of them,” adds Neumeier.
Held last May 30, 2019 at the Conrad Centennial Singapore, this year’s Singapore Business Review Technology Excellence Awards honoured companies which have launched ground-breaking solutions and avant-garde technology initiatives.
