Oil firms announce rollback in pump prices effective on Tuesday

AMID an increase in global crude prices, oil companies announced a rollback effective this week.
Petro Gazz and Pilipinas Shell said in separate advisories that they would cut the price of diesel by 45 centavos per liter and gasoline by 35 centavos per liter effective on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
Pilipinas Shell will also slash the price of kerosene by 60 centavos per liter, also at 6 a.m.
Seaoil reduced the price of diesel by 45 centavos per liter, gasoline by 35 centavos, and kerosene by 60 centavos per liter on Monday at 12:01 a.m.
It was Phoenix Petroleum who led this week’s fuel price rollback when it lowered prices of diesel and gasoline by 45 centavos per liter and 35 centavos per liter, respectively, on Sunday at 6 a.m.
Other firms are expected to follow suit.
Last week, industry players raised the price of diesel by 80 centavos per liter, gasoline by 90 centavos per liter, and kerosene by 75 centavos per liter.
