President Duterte lashed out at outgoing Sen. Antonio F. Trillanes IV Thursday, calling him “shameless,” following the latest claim of Peter Joemer Advincula, alias “Bikoy,” that Trillanes was one of the persons behind the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos implicating the First Family and allies into the illegal drugs trade.
Advincula earlier in the day also claimed that Trillanes and the Liberal Party masterminded the black propaganda against the President.
In a speech in Davao City, Duterte expressed confidence that the truth will come out soon, even challenging his critics to come out if they really want to oust him.
Then you have the gall to stage a mutiny,” he said. “After that the President was so unpopular nanalo itong si Trillanes. At ano’ng ginawa mo? Binaboy mo ang Senado, and you used that power to run after people,” he added.
Duterte accused Trillanes of owning cars and properties listed under the names of other people. Lalabas din ‘yan,” he said.
“Walang hiya ka. Hindi ka lalaki,” he added.
Trillanes brushed aside Duterte’s latest tirade against him.
Henyo ka talaga, Duts,” he added.
Trillanes has denied Advincula’s claims that members of the opposition plotted to discredit and oust the President.
“I deny the allegations made by this Bikoy character. This could be another ploy of the administration to harass the opposition. For now, I will be consulting with my lawyers so that we could also file the appropriate charges against him,” Trillanes said. (Argyll Geducos)
