Davao City Rep.-elect Paolo Duterte wants ‘Bikoy’ probed

DAVAO CITY – Presidential son and incoming Davao City Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte wants the confessions of Peter Joemel Advincula, alias “Bikoy,” investigated.
Advincula yesterday tagged the Liberal Party and Sen. Antonio F. Trillanes IV as behind the “Ang Totoong Narco-List” videos implicating President Duterte’s family and allies in the illegal drugs trade.
“Without a doubt, Sen. Antonio Trillanes was behind it. And now that many names have also surfaced, to include Sen. Risa Hontiveros and several lawyers,” Paolo said.
Paolo said it was clear that the videos were fabricated with a narrative taken straight from the playbook of people whose desire is to destroy the Duterte name and reputation.
He said all the lies presented were meant to crush the trust of the Filipino people in the authorities and inspire public disgust against the government.
“Truly the handiwork of people who want to undermine the Duterte administration,” he said.
His sister, reelected Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, said Advincula is a scam created by people who oppose the Duterte administration.
She said this group is so disorganized they cannot even get to first base because the path to their objective is in disarray. “Kung ako leader ng grupo na ito, I will shoot myself in the head, get rid of the brain that is not useful,” she said. (Armando Fenequito Jr.)
