According to the latest data from the Philippine Statistics Authority, of the 2.30 million Filipinos working overseas between April and September 2018, a total of 55.8 percent were females and 44.2 percent were males.
The report also showed that 17.9 percent of them were from Calabarzon, 14.3 percent came from Central Luzon, while 9.7 percent came from the National Capital Region.—Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
