The Quezon City government has inaugurated a brand new 100-bed hospital located along IBP Road in Barangay Batasan Hills, which will open soon.

The Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital, named after the mother of Mayor Herbert Bautista, is now equipped to give outpatient services, according to its chief Dr. Richard Joseph Cabotage.

“We now have trauma care, meaning we are ready for immediate care for injured patients. We have emergency medicine, radiology, critical care and surgery,” Cabotage said.

“The out-patient department had a test run and soft opening last March 25. We have free consultations, X-ray, ultrasound (diagnostic and OB-Gyne), and selected dental and laboratory services,” he added.

The city government expects the Department of Health to issue a permit that would allow the hospital to fully operate.

The hospital is the third medical facility owned by the city. The other two are the Quezon City General Hospital and the Novaliches District General Hospital.
