Yellow alert lifted in Luzon–NGCP

THE National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has lifted the yellow alert in the Luzon grid due to a lower power demand.
In its advisory, the grid operator said the alert was lifted at 4:37 p.m.
The Department of Energy (DoE) said the 345-megawatt (MW) Unit 1 of GNPower Mariveles Coal Plant Ltd. Co. remained offline and was expected to resume operations on Saturday.
Also, the following power plants are running at limited capacity:
*Calaca Unit 2 of SEM-Calaca Power Corp.
*Pagbilao Unit 3 of Pagbilao Energy Corp.
*Limay Unit 2 of SMC Consolidated Power Corp.
*Angat Hydroelectric Power Plant Main Units 1-4 of Angat Hydropower Corp.
*Pantabangan Hydroelectric Power Plant Units 1-2 of First Gen Hydro Power Corp.
*Magat Hydroelectric Power Plant Units 1-4 and Ambuklao Hydroelectric Power Plant Units 1-3 of SN Aboitiz Power Inc.
