Migz Villafuerte reelected governor in Camarines Sur

PILI, Camarines Sur – The youngest of the Villafuertes has won the gubernatorial race in Camarines Sur in this year’s midterm elections.

Miguel “Migz” Villafuerte, who sought reelection, was officially proclaimed by the Commission on Elections here as the duly elected governor of the province late Wednesday evening.

This will be his last term as the governor of Camarines Sur.

Villafuerte garnered 413, 592 votes while his rivals; Congressman Rolando Andaya Jr. got 408,147 votes; and Bishop Buenaflor garnered 5,708 votes.
