Zamora proclaimed mayor of San Juan

FRANCIS Zamora is the new mayor of San Juan, ending years of dominance by the Ejercitos in the city.

Zamora, a former vice mayor, got 34,027 votes to Janella Ejercito’s 23,998 votes, based on election returns from 95 out of 98 clustered precincts.

Ejercito is the daughte of former senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada. DEMPSEY REYES
