MANILA mayoral candidates Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, Alfredo Lim and incumbent Joseph Estrada cast their votes in Manila on Monday.
Lim arrived at the Rosauro Almario Elementary School in Tondo, Manila before 8 a.m. and voted at polling precinct 60A.
He also belied rumors that he has conceded to Domagoso, saying “the fight continues.”
The former Manila mayor is running against Estrada, whom he lost to in the last two elections, and Domagoso, who secured the endorsement of two religious institutions.

Meanwhile, supporters of Domagoso waited at the Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School in Perla corner Varona Streets, Tondo where the former “basurero” or garbage man as Domagoso calls himself, voted at clustered precinct 0257A at 7:53 a.m.
His running mate, Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna, cast her vote at her polling precinct at the Legarda Elementary School in Sampaloc.
Domagoso urged registered voters of Manila to exercise their right to suffrage.
“Sa araw na ito, mananaig ang boses ng taumbayan. Inaanyayahan ko po ang lahat ng Manileño na makilahok sa demokratikong proseso na ito at bumoto sa kani-kanilang mga presinto,” Domagoso said.
(On this day, the people’s voice will prevail. We are urging Manileños to join the democratic process and vote in their respective precincts.)
