JUNE Mar Fajardo of San Miguel Beer captured a sixth straight Philippine Cup and eighth overall Best Player of the Conference award on Wednesday prior to the start of Game 4 of the best-of-seven Finals between the Beermen and Magnolia at the Araneta Coliseum.
The five-time reigning Most Valuable Player collected a total of 1165 points value from statistics, media, players and the Commissioner’s Office to beat Northport’s Sean Anthony (641), Roger Pogoy of TNT (522), Northport’s Stanley Pringle (387) and Mo Tautuaa (368). JOSEF T. RAMOS
