BUSINESSMAN Victor Vincent “Vicvic” Villavicencio, founder of several eat-all-you-can restaurants in the Philippines, succumbed to a heart attack. He was 67.

Sen. Richard Gordon, a close friend of Villavicencio, confirmed the news in a post on social media on Monday.

“I am shattered and grief stricken by the passing of one of my dearest friends, Vic Vic Villavicencio. Vic Vic was a kind, gracious, thoughtful, and generous individual who was always there to support his friends,” Gordon said.

“We shared moments in the early days of Subic envisioning and planning for its future and saw the promise of a great community there,” he added.

Villavicencio founded Dad’s World Buffet, Saisaki, Sambo Kojin, Number 1 Barbecues, Ogetsu Hime, and Kamayan, under his holding firm Firstfoods Food Services Inc. ANGELICA BALLESTEROS
