“DON’T rush.”
This is singer Karylle’s advice to singles who feel left out not being in a relationship.
As quoted in an interview by Pep.ph, she said, “I always tell people, especially yung mga bagong single. I give them a big hug, and I keep saying, ‘Please don’t have a boyfriend.’ Like, don’t rush to your next relationship. Just have a relationship with yourself.”
She admitted having someone beside you can be “tempting” and “sweet” citing how when someone holds “your hand and then they’re watching K-Drama, and then you’re probably like, ‘Oh my god I want that!’ But no, it’s so nice to be single.”
Karylle insisted being single is not “pathetic” maintaining “it’s the best time to get to know yourself and just get it together and hang out with your friends.”
