CLARK FREEPORT — Regular international and domestic flights at the Clark International Airport resumed at 4 p.m. on Wednesday or less than 48 hours after a 6.1-magnitude earthquake on Monday damaged the pre-departure lobby of its first terminal.
“It’s business as usual,” said Jaime Melo, president of the state-owned Clark International Airport Corp.
The ceilings, counters, and boarding gates have been repaired, Melo said.
He said electricity, flight information systems, and closed-circuit television cameras have been restored before the flights resumed.
Cargo carriers FedEx and UPS flew to Clark on Tuesday night, indicating the runway was not damaged by the tremor.
These are the flights scheduled in Clark at 4 p.m.
