CLARK International Airport (CIA) will resume its operations at 4:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, after repairing damage to the terminal building caused by a strong earthquake that hit parts of Luzon.
“Clark airport is business as usual, from counters to manifest to boarding gates,” CIA Corp.’s Jaime Melo said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Clark airport was closed and flights were suspended for 24 hours beginning at 7:40 p.m. on Monday to inspect the airport terminal structure and facilities for safety purposes.
Clearing operations and repairs began on Tuesday morning in the pre-departure area.
CIAC said that power, flight information systems and closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs) were fully restored for operations.
“May we remind the riding public to kindly check or coordinate with their respective airlines for confirmation of their flight schedules via Clark beginning April 24,” Melo added.
