MRT, LRT resume operations

RAILWAY transport in Metro Manila resumed operations on Tuesday, a day after they were suspended due to an earthquake.
The Department of Transportation (DoTr) said there were no structural defects after assessing the impact of the 6.1-magnitude quake that struck Zambales and felt in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
The DoTr said the Metro Rail Transit-3 and Light Rail Transport-1 began operations at 5:30 a.m., while LRT-2 started at 4:30 a.m. LISBET K. ESMAEL
