No casualties, 90% of power back in Clark after quake

NO casualties were reported in Clark, Pampanga following the 6.1-magnitude earthquake that hit the area and other parts of Central Luzon on Monday, according to the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
In a statement on Tuesday, CDC said that it restored 90 percent of power supply in the vicinity.
“CDC has also designated temporary shelters for travelers and tourists who might be affected by the closure of operations of Clark International Airport and may not be able to afford to stay at the hotels,” it added.
Clark International Airport was closed and flights were suspended for 24 hours beginning at 7:40 p.m. on Monday to suspect the facility for safety purposes.
