Fire hits Cebu hotel

AN 11-story hotel in Cebu was partially burned early dawn on Easter Sunday.
Chief Insp. Noel Nelson Ababon, fire marshall, said that billows of smoke originated from the generator set room on the second floor of Hotel Elizabeth in Barangay Kamputhaw, in Cebu City.
The fire alarm was first raised at 1:33 a.m. and the blaze was placed under control at 2:13 a.m.
The fire was put out at 2:24 a.m.
Ababon said there were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
Damage to property is estimated at P10,000.
