Nearly 300K passengers troop to ports on Holy Wednesday — PCG

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) recorded almost 300,000 passengers in ports across the country on Holy Wednesday.
Data from the PCG showed that 299,781 outbound passengers were in various ports in the country from 12 a.m. Wednesday until 12 a.m. Thursday.
The number of passengers is higher than that recorded on Holy Tuesday, which was at 264,102.
The bulk of the passengers were recorded from Southern Tagalog provinces, such as Batangas, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, and Quezon, with 60,722 passengers.
This was followed by Central Visayas with 60,607 and Western Visayas with 43,722.

11. South Western Mindanao – 7,509
12. Bicol – 16,451
13. North Eastern Luzon – 1,807
