After a dominant showing in the recently-concluded Fight Night III: Philippines vs Korea of Cage Gladiators and Hitman MMA at the SM Skydome in Quezon City, South Korean combatants Kim Jae Woong and Min Hyeok Lee have both made interesting statements to set up explosive matches in the near future.
In the main event, Lee dominated Quezon City bet Miguel Alowith his power and aggression, showing a clear advantage in grappling for an easy unanimous decision win.
Kim, on the other hand, showed his vast repertoire in beating Dennis Domingo in just 72 seconds via a rear-naked.
Following his victory over Domingo, Kim called out Drex Zamboanga, one of the most established local mixed martial artist in the Philippines.
“I heard there is a bantamweight champion in the Philippines named Drex Zamboanga, and when I watched his fight, he looked kind of weak for a champion, so I want him next here in the Philippines,” said Kim with the help of manager Michael Park interpreting.
Zamboanga, a URCC bantamweight champion, was present at the venue when Kim made the challenge, and he accepted it proudly.
Meanwhile, Lee agreed to face anyone when asked after his win over Alo, and then things got interesting when CJ De Tomas went inside the cage for an offer.
