MANILA, Philippines – Transport authorities started deploying buses on Monday to serve commuters amid the maintenance shutdown of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) during Holy Week.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) said the buses would load and unload passengers at MRT-3 stations from North Avenue to Taft Avenue from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

These buses will operate from April 15 to 17 and April 20 to 21 and the fare will be the same as that of the MRT-3, the DOTr said.
