SOCIAL networking giant Facebook, as well as photo-sharing application Instagram and messaging application WhatsApp are down.
The hashtags, #WhatsAppDown, #InstagramDown, and #FacebookDown were the top three trending topics on Twitter worldwide.
According to its company information, Facebook has 2.32 billion active monthly users worldwide, with 1.52 billion active users on the average.
Instagram currently has 1 billion monthly active users and 500 million daily active users. It also has 400 million daily active users of “Stories”, based on data from Omnicore Agency.
WhatsApp currently has 1.5 billion users in 180 countries, which is the most popular messaging application in the world, website Business of Apps said. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
