Tricycle driver, 2 kids dead in Quezon road accident

LUCENA CITY — A tricycle driver and his two children were killed in a vehicular accident in Atimonan town in Quezon province Wednesday night, police said.
A report said a tricycle being driven by Vicente Balderosa collided head-on with an oncoming Nissan Urvan along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Balubad around 7:25 p.m.
Balderosa and his three children – Vincent (around 1 to 5 years old), Marian (5 to 10 years old) and Justine (10 to 15 years old) – all suffered serious injuries and were taken to Doña Marta District Hospital at the town center.
Police said Balderosa, Vincent and Marian died along the way.
Justine also suffered serious injuries and was confined at the said hospital.
