Inmate escapes from New Bilibid Prison

MANILA, Philippines — An inmate at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) escaped last March 8, a source said.
The inmate at the medium-security camp has been identified as Manuel Solano Gusi, who was convicted of carnapping and meted with a penalty of up to 17 years imprisonment.
He was transferred in Muntinlupa only last December. /atm
