2 drug suspects slain in Nueva Ecija shootout

CABANATUAN CITY — Two drug suspects were killed in separate anti-drug stings in Nueva Ecija in a span of four hours over the weekend, police said.
Danilo Ison was shot dead after engaging policemen in a gunfight during a buy-bust operation at 1:45 a.m. in Barangay Bantug Norte here on Saturday.
In Aliaga town, Jaime De Leon, Jr. was also killed after resisting arrest and firing at policemen during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Emiliano about 10 p.m. on Friday.
