Fire hits residential area in Parañaque City

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area in Parañaque City on Friday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.

Fire Officer I Christine Pascual said the fire started at 1:04 p.m. at a residential area in Sitio Pagroses, San Isidro, Parañaque City.

The BFP said the fire is still ongoing and firefighters are still on the site to put out the blaze.

The BFP has yet to investigate the cause of the fire and the amount of damage. /ee
