Rotary Club of Makati Jose P. Rizal celebrates silver anniversary

AS it celebrated its 25 years of service, Rotary Club of Makati dJose P. Rizal honored women and scholars during its silver anniversary at the Grand Ballroom of New World Makati Hotel on January 21.
The event was made special as it was graced by members, past and charter presidents, the Governor of the Rotary Club of Makati Al Montecillo, and other special guests.
“It was a great time to celebrate what these women have done and at the same time usher in a new season where we intend to help more,” said Project Manager Victoria Hernandez. “It truly is an exciting time for the club.”
The night was made special by 10 ladies who each made a donation to the scholarship fund. The generous women were then honored through a special fashion show featuring them in the collection of designer Pia Gladys Perey.
It was soon followed by an auction which included a python bag from Lally Dizon, and gowns by designers Claiza Bihasa, Fascino and Kaye Morales beauty sets from Clinique and Bobbi Brown, services from Vine Aesthetics and a bottle of The Macallan Rare Cask.
