MANILA, Philippines – A poster ad of a flu medication that bears a sexually-inappropriate message is fake.

Unilab, Inc. has assured the public that the poster ad of the Bioflu Non-Drowsy which has been circulating on social media, bearing the tagline: “Flu Relief Na ‘Di Nakakan**t,” is a fake photo.

“We would like to inform the public that the malicious image circulating in social media is a fake photo,” Unilab said in a statement.

The company clarified that the poster was “not directly or indirectly” created and released by Unilab or the Bioflu Non-Drowsy.

“The brand/company does not use vulgar language in any of its communication and ad materials,” it added.

Unilab said that the poster originally read “Flu Relief Na ‘Di Nakakaantok.”

Unilab said the photo had circulated on social media since Feb. 6 at about 7 p.m.
