5.6-magnitude quake shakes Pangasinan

MANILA, Philippines – A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted inland Pangasinan on Wednesday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its earthquake bulletin, the Phivolcs said the temblor hit 6 kilometers (km) northeast of Mabini, Pangasinan, at 6:25 p.m.
It had a depth of 107 km and was of tectonic origin.

An instrumental intensity II was felt over Malolos, Bulacan and Guagua, Pampanga.
Meanwhile, Instrumental Intensity I was felt over Laoag City; Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte; San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
Aftershocks could be expected from the quake, Phivolcs said, but no damage could be expected.
