Drug suspect slain in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY — A suspected drug pusher from Licab, Nueva Ecija was killed in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, police said.
Supt. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief, said Jojo Galang, 44, engaged policemen in a shootout in Barangay Bitas here at 1:25 a.m.
Zafra said the suspect fired a .38-caliber revolver at a policeman who acted as a drug buyer.
Police retaliated and shot the suspect who died instantly.
