2 drug suspects gunned down in Nueva Ecija

CABANATUAN CITY, Philippines – Two suspected drug pushers were killed in a shootout with police during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Arcadia here at dawn on Sunday.
Police also recovered an Asian Utility Vehicle and a tricycle used by the slain suspects, identified as Francis Faustino, 39, a resident of Barangay Tagpos in Sta. Rosa town and a certain ‘Toper’.
Supt. Ponciano Zafra, city police chief, said investigators recovered from the casualties 15 sachets of shabu (crystal meth), a .45 caliber pistol, a .38 caliber revolver, and two marled P500 bills. /gsg
