The event is slated for Valentine’s Day, February 14, 7:00 p.m. at the Fiesta Pavilion.

Executive chef Walter Konrad demonstrates his considerable skill in creating an an exquisite, and unique dining experience, through a menu that pays homage to the great romances of history.

The opening act, the Roses of Beetroot Cured Gravlax, is dish inspired by Ingrid Bergmann and Roberto Rossellini whose romance rocked Holywood in the 1940s. The Swedish-born Bergmann is represented by the gravlax with its simplicity and luxury. It lies on a bed of peppery arugula, drizzled with balsamic vinegar, Italian ingredients chosen in reference to Rossellini.

Christian Bautista will serenade guests in an exclusive Valentine dinner with an elegant dinner like no other like this Roses of Beetroot Cured Gravlax.

The soup course is a Delectable Soup of Mirliton Squash, inspired by the fiery romance of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo while Italy inspired the Duetto di Ravioli, a dish comprised of two handmade raviolis created by Italian Chef Marco Ghini to represent Romeo and Juliet.

Meanwhile, Ferdinand and Isabella, the Spanish rulers who sent Christopher Columbus on his fateful voyage to America, inspired the Frozen Chocolate Chili Intermezzo. Columbus came home to Spain with chocolate, chili and many other gastronomic treasures.

John and Jackie Kennedy gave The White House glamor and romance. The Carré d’Agneau Vert Pre was served to Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco at one of the most famous State Dinners of the era.

The Heart of Velvet Ricotta Mousse is a sweet ode to Antony and Cleopatra, one of the most legendary lovers in history while two Macaroons are presented in honor of Napoleon and Josephine.
