BAGUIO CITY — The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CRDRRMC) has permitted the opening of Kennon Road to private motorists next month for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Homecoming and Panagbenga 2019.

Local officials said Friday Kennon Road would be opened on a one-way traffic scheme towards Baguio City, starting 6 a.m. February 14 until 6 a.m. February 18; and again by 6 a.m. February 22 until 6 a.m. March 4 for the flower festival parade.

“Motorists can use Marcos Highway of Naguilian Road when going down from the city,” a CRDRRMC advisory said.

Task Force Kennon Road, however, agreed to allow identified and registered vehicles of residents to go up and down Kennon Road.
