LUCENA CITY, Philippines — Police arrested four suspected drug traffickers in a buy-bust operation inside a hotel here on Friday night.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed suspects Dennis Delfin, Jonathan de Chavez, Hermagella Sarino and Jancylou Amada inside one of the rooms at a hotel in Barangay (village) 11 at around 7:10 p.m.
Police said Delfin earlier sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a deal made inside the same hotel room. At a signal, policemen barged in and arrested the suspects.
The two women were even caught in the act of using shabu, police said.
Authorities seized four plastic sachets of shabu weighing a total of 2.76 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P5,100 and various paraphernalia for using shabu.
Police tagged Delfin an ex-convict and the alleged leader of the group. All suspects are included in the police drug watch list. /muf
