Chris Pratt engaged, ‘thrilled’ to be marrying ‘Terminator’s’ daughter

HOLLYWOOD actor Chris Pratt – best known for his roles as Peter Quill in the hit Marvel movie “Guardians of the Galaxy” – is now engaged to the daughter of “Terminator” star-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger.
“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!” the actor wrote on his Instagram account @prattprattpratt on Monday afternoon (Manila time).
A photo of the couple hugging and Katherine Schwarzenegger showing off her diamond ring accompanied the post.
According to reports, the 39-year-old actor and 29-year-old the inspirational writer and body positivity advocate started dating seven months ago but only made their relationship “social media official” when Pratt posted a sweet birthday greeting for Schwarzenegger in December 2018.
“Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care,” Pratt wrote as caption for a collage of their candid photos together.
The “Jurassic World” actor was first married to comedienne and producer Anna Faris in 2009 but announced their separation in 2017. Their divorce was finalized in 2018 but remains friendly toward each other for their 6-year-old son Jack.
Schwarzenegger’s mother is journalist Maria Shriver, niece of the late US president John F. Kennedy, who has been separated from her actor-husband since 2011 when she learned that he fathered a child with their housekeeper, according to TMZ.
Shriver filed for divorce seven years ago although it has yet to be finalized, it said.
