MANILA, Philippines – A huge crowd of devotees packed the 6.1-kilometer route of this year’s Traslacion in Manila on Wednesday to show their respect and dedication to the Black Nazarene, which they believe would bring healing and miracles in their life.
Mostly barefoot, the faithful waved towels while a number of them dared to climb the “Andas” or carriage to rub their towels on or touch the wooden image of the Black Nazarene.
