Poe tops Pulse Asia survey on 2019 Senate hopefuls

MANILA, Philippines – Reelectionist Sen. Grace Poe emerged as the top choice of Filipino voters for the Senate in the coming elections, the latest Pulse Asia survey showed.
The survey, conducted from December 14 to 21, showed Poe getting a 75.6 percent voter preference.
Sen. Cynthia Villar ranked second with 66.6 percent voter preference.
Senator Sonny Angara and Taguig Rep. Pia Cayetano shared the third to fourth spot.
Former senator Lito Lapid and Senators Nancy Binay and Aquilino Pimentel III were statistically tied for the fifth to seventh spot.
Former senators Serge Osmena, Bong Revilla, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos , Jinggoy Estrada, Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Mar Roxas, JV Ejercito and Bam Aquino completed the top 12. /cbb
