LIZA Soberano is still among Top 5 of TC Candler and The Independent Critics’ annual 100 Most Beautiful Faces.
Although she dropped three places from her spot last year, it was good enough for fans who helped spread the news via social media.
And who is number one? French model Thylane Blondeau, who, at just 6 years old, was already touted “most beautiful girl in the world.”
The daughter of designer Veronika Loubry and soccer player Patrick Blondeau bested not only Soberano but other worthy contenders from all over the world including Audreyana Michelle, Yael Shelbia, and Chou Tzuyu, for the spot.
In any case, this is Soberano’s fourth time to enter the list, making her a shoo-in for TC Candler’s “Hall of Fame.”
Note she placed 1st in 2017, 2nd in 2016, and 6th in 2015.
Other Filipina celebrities who made it to the list but miles away from the Top 5 or Top 20 are Nadine Lustre (70th) and Jessy Mendiola (55th).
Kim Domingo and Kathryn Bernardo also made the list last year but were noticeably absent this time around.
“Unlike most other annual beauty rankings, the 100 Most Beautiful Faces List is not a popularity contest and it is definitely not country specific. It is not about the hottest or the most famous celebrity. Rather, the list attempts to inform & broaden public opinion, instead of reflecting it. The list introduces new faces to countries they ordinarily would not reach,” TC Candler said on their video’s caption.
TC Candler and The Independent Critics have been creating the list since 1990.
Some of the most beautiful faces in the past years that topped their list are Emma Watson, Emilia Clarke, Camilla Belle, Nana and Jourdan Dunn. (NEIL RAMOS)
