Northeast monsoon to bring light rains in Luzon

Tropical depression “Usman” weakened into a low pressure area on Sunday but most parts of the country will continue to have rains because of the northeast monsoon, the weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Ilocos regions, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley, Southern and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies and light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
The Visayas and Mindanao will also have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Coastal waters in Luzon, the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao will be rough.
