MANILA, Philippines — Only 798 passengers remain stranded in different ports nationwide as a result of heavy rain dumped by Tropical Depression “Usman” that has been downgraded to a low pressure area, the Philippine Coast Guard said Sunday.

In its latest tally, the PCG showed the following number of stranded passengers as of 12 noon, Sunday:

National Capital Region-Central Luzon – 281 

Commander’s Wharf –  281

Gumaca Port – 108

Real Port – 200

Western Visayas – 36

Banica Wharf – 33

Libertad Wharf – 3

A remaining number of 15 rolling cargoes; 7 vessels; and 3 motor bancas were still stranded in the said ports.
