Gas prices down P1 before Christmas

AHEAD of Christmas celebrations, oil companies announced over the weekend a significant reduction in prices of petroleum products.
In separate advisories, they said they would cut prices of diesel, gasoline and kerosene by P1 each.
Phoenix Petroleum imposed its oil price rollback on Saturday at 12:01 a.m., followed by PTT Philippines, Seaoil and Unioil at 6 a.m.
Jetti Petroleum lowered its prices on Sunday at 12 noon.
Pilipinas Shell and Petro Gazz would cut pump prices on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
Last week, most companies slashed the price of diesel by 25 to 35 centavos per liter, gasoline by 10 to 15 centavos per liter, and kerosene by 25 centavos per liter.
The latest rollbacks bring the common price of diesel to P36.90-P38.90 per liter, gasoline to P47.95-P49.15 per liter and kerosene by P47.57 per liter, based on the Energy department’s weekly monitoring.
