Since the time Christopher “Bong” Go first worked for then Mayor Rodrigo Duterte some 20 years ago, he has never left his side. He is quite literally the President’s most trusted confidant in all things.

Go [a graduate of Management from De La Salle University] has been driver, messenger, aide-de-camp and everything else in between for Mr. Duterte, and along the way, he has had to put his boss ahead of his personal and his family’s needs.

The devoted protege with his idol and mentor, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Now, as Go prepares to enter a new chapter in his life in public service, he once again draws inspiration and strength from his long-time mentor and friend.

“Tatak Duterte” — by this he shall be known and on this, his fate lies. But he is more than just a mirror image of the President, he is also the bridge — the logical continuation of the Duterte programs and policies into the future. In a sense the country’s insurance policy that the many positive changes experienced today will not end in 2022, but will continue until every last Filipino will have the better life that the President and Bong Go have promised.

“Ipinapangako ko kay Pangulong Duterte na ipagpapatuloy ko ang pagbagong sinimulan niya upang maiangat ang kalidad ng buhay ng bawat Pilipino. Ang aking tanging bisyo ay ang magserbisyo sa Pangulo at sa bayan.”
