ERC commissioner resigns for ‘health reasons’
ONE of four commissioners of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) resigned for “health reasons,” the agency said.
Geronimo Sta. Ana’s resignation was effective on September 15, ERC spokesperson Florensinda Digal said in a text message on Thursday.
Former President Benigno Aquino 3rd appointed Sta. Ana as ERC commissioner on March 19, 2015.
With Sta. Ana’s resignation, the ERC is left with three commissioners — Josefina Patricia Magpale-Asirit, Catherine Maceda, and Alexis Lumbatan; and its chairperson, Agnes Devanadera. JORDEENE LAGARE
